Before we reported that Xiaomi Note 2 might get cancelled. But it looks like the device is still alive and a fresh live image has leaked again; earlier it was rumored to be replaced with Mi 5s Plus.
Xiaomi is planning to dispatch its fresh new flagship phone, the Xiaomi Mi 5S on September 27, which is only a week away. While this is incredible news, since the Mi 5S is relied upon to pack in flagship components, it brought up the subject of Xiaomi Mi Note 2 and its presence.
There is also a leaked screenshot that mentions the high-end specifications of this upcoming Mi note 2 device. It tells that the Mi Note 2 Pro will be packed with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 821 quad-core processor clocked at 2.6GHz. The leaked screenshot is also suggesting that the device will be powered by a monstrous 8GB of RAM, which can be really destructive on paper. Still there is only one device rumored to have 8GB of RAM; i.e. LeEco’s upcoming Le Pro 3 . There’s even 256GB memory rumored alongside the latest MIUI based on Android 7 Nougat OS out of the box.
While we can’t confirm the authenticity of the screenshot and guarantee that the Mi Note 2 is coming very soon. Since the Mi5S is relied upon to be reported in the not so distant future. The Mi note 2 is expected to come in Q4 2016, however nothing is official so we can’t comment on the exact date or period now. But hold your breath for the upcoming Mi 5s, which is surly going to be an all time monster from the house of Xiaomi in terms of specifications.
